We’ve been silent but that doesn’t mean we’ve been inactive. Sometimes artists just move on to other projects pursuits and our hands are tied.
Expect a more music focused 2024 as we spend our efforts on A&R and new artist development (thanks to generous funding TBA officially later). What the theme of the year will be is anybody’s guess (such is the creative process), but rest assured you will hear some new Robot Ears music in 2024.

Robot Ears Productions is pleased to reveal the poster for the upcoming Tim Speed short film, Social Distancing Models (formerly #COVIDBOYS). Premiere location and time to be announced shortly
Robot Ears Production is pleased to announced that enough funding has been secured for principal photography and initial pre-production on its first feature length film tentatively titled Bounty. Cast and crew announcements to come as we move farther along in the process but we’re absolutely elated to be moving beyond the short film format.
The film is yet to have a release date but expected Q1 or Q2 2021.

Pre-production of a new film short has been completed on a new project based entirely over teleconference in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic. Scenes for the short film (working title #COVIDBOYS) are expected to begin shooting in the next few weeks.

Robot Ears’ first release of 2020 will come from General Ambience with Flying from Halifax to Toronto on Christmas Day. The hum of the airplane, the drinks and snacks coming, the airport PA, boarding, all the atmospheric sounds of the airport and flying with the twist of being on Christmas. General Ambience continues to output great atmospheric urban ambience

With the new year in full swing, we have a new spoken word album of motivational poetry coming from Poetry Classics. We’re pleased to announce what we hope will be the first volume of motivational poetry entitled, Motivational Poetry: The Will to Fight. Expect it to be drop January 22, 2020.

Just in time for Remembrance Day, Poetry Classics is releasing a full album of spoken word poetry containing some of the most memorable and best written forgotten poetry from the era of World War I. This November 29, 2019 will see the release of the debut album from General Ambience, “Grocery Store – A Fall Rush Hour in Halifax, Nova Scotia.” The album is an aural exploration of your local grocery store. The hum of the fridges, the rhythmic beat of shopping cart wheels on tile, the steady beeps of a cashier’s scanner. General Ambience takes the listener on an unconventionally calming atmospheric journey through the unexpected calmness of a grocery store in Fall’s rush hour.
